CMSL week 10 preview

After Ardsley Celtic continued their dominance, Vallen took off the handbrake, Churchtown Massive invited a fan to be boss for a day and Hooligans got a statement victory- we completed week nine and are now a third of the way through the season. Relive the show with supremo Martin and Swindon Devils boss Fyfie here.

In this week’s midweek review show Ardsley Celtic boss Hodgy and Btec Troopers manager Ian were guests in the studio.

Team of the week

Vallen United manager Andreas picked up the manager of the week award while his defender Cafu won the players award.

Week 10 preview

Joining Martin this week is Chudley Cannons boss Scott while Midlothian manager and assistant manager Iain and Neil will feature on the midweek show. Let’s see what they will be commenting on.

Aster- Goalkeeper Langley had a shocker against Dragons and we hold him solely responsible for the defeat. It was heartbreaking for all the other players as they played really well. He’s now been consigned to training with the youths and transfer listed.

Changes will be made against Mr 271 in the next match, but nothing too drastic as individual outfield performances have generally been good.

Midweek comms is an excellent new feature and rotating matchday guests is a good idea. We need to get Thiago on somehow.

We are looking to add a DC in the transfer window and have identified a likely signing.

A stroll with Bolton Phoenix

Midlothian- We were absolutely delighted with the win at Palmerthinaikos to continue our excellent recent form. I thought we defended fantastically well and with the form our attacking players are in I really always fancy us to grab a goal. We were perhaps a little fortunate to win the match but it’s all about taking your chances and we done just that. We really seem to be clicking into gear now and as I said before I really do fancy us to score in every game we play. Next up we travel to the reigning Superleague Champions Bolton Phoenix which is going to be a tough ask to get anything from the match. We do have a few first team players out with injury now, they include, Hofland (3weeks), Gerrard (1week), Mpenza (3weeks) Van der Vaart(2weeks). These guys are a massive loss and would in my opinion walk into any teams starting lineup in the league. Our next couple of fixtures are going to really test our squad depth and will give an indication of where we really are and if we can be taken seriously as challengers. Our assistant and myself have the utmost confidence in our players and ourselves to keep this run going.

Hornets- I have very little to say on our last game. Absolute snooze fest. Once again we can’t score and the oppositions goalkeeper turns into a human wall. We have a full squad to pick from next game but expect a few changes as we need to start scoring goals

Ardsley- Sunday nights game was a massive win to go away to the champions and come away with a clean sheet and win is great some of the lads are giving me some real selection headaches which although tough is a nice predicament to be in, I think if we replayed the fixture this week Ryan would go with his usual set up and give us a much tougher match up, but he showed us respect and maybe a little too much in the end.

Hornets away next up for us which was the only away ground we won a game at last year so its probably sods law that our run will come to an end! We see Terry come back into the 11 with stankovic missing out and said moving to DMC Dario Husain drops to the bench to allow Claudio Lopez to make his first appearance of the season.

There’s plenty of things going off at the club behind the scenes right now but nothing to be released yet, I will be flying to Portugal monday morning to cast my eye over a player we may look towards bringing in once the next window opens.

Thoughts of the stand in gaffer
Return of the boss
Keep on trooping with Btec

Hooligans- A fair victory about our old customers from BTEC, I´m glad how Oliseh is delivering what I expect from him. Next game we still have problems to pick the squad, Taribo and Dinho are key players but we have a strong and unite group that can face anyone.

Cannons firing

Sloths- Sloths were pathetic again. A husk of a team going through the motions.
The only response is for us to get fu**ed in every hole possible by Vallen. I can’t wait for us to be further humiliated.

Crespo is back in the fold along with kezman and yepes has been drafted in. Not sure it will make a difference though.

It will be interesting to see who the referee is this week so we can work out how many of my players he is going to send off.

As you can tell I am getting quite fu***d off.

In other news the rivaldo statue was torn down from outside the Nik naks this week. Nothing to do with slaves. Just because he is a complete c**t.

Vallen-Very pleased with new formation trialed against the ever so dangerous Swindon

For transfers I’m still looking to bring in an Emerson type of player. Open to offers if you have anything that can fit into that criteria. Saviola available!

SDCMFC- Nothing else needs saying about the absolute shambles that was our performance. Pathetic is an understatement.

A change in situation this week will hopefully bring a change, although Zidane and Montero continue to miss out.

We look forward to welcoming the Dragons this week. The dynamic duo have frankly disappointed so far, a typical “sing when your winning ” outfit. I would love it, love it if we beat them. We have another new, all out attack formation that is either genius or suicidal. We learned last week about releasing the shackles and now it’s our turn.

We hope to acquire a South American superstar when the window opens who will add serious depth and significant quality.

Dragons- We are really happy with the last game, we all know how difficult it is against Alf and a side I’ve never beaten, After going on a decent run the defeat v Hodds was a big dissapointment but delighted with the 3 points. Shearer was a massive plus point for us.

Next game will be difficult, 2 teams who’ve been dissapointing this season, hopefully we can get another 3 points

We are still missing Kaladze but everyone else is fit. Shearer will hopefully continue his good form and Brozek will again be the guy to watch, easily the best attacker in the league right now

Watch the action live tonight from 9pm UK time.
